Tidy Gardens provides fine ecological care for established residential landscapes across the South Shore. Our work is grounded in horticultural expertise, organic practices, and a long-term stewardship approach that prioritizes plant health, natural aesthetics, and thoughtful attention to detail.

Garden Stewardship

Regular visits maintain order, suppress weeds, support plant health, and preserve the beauty of your landscape throughout the growing season. Services are tailored to each property and may include detailed hand-weeding, selective pruning, deadheading, monitoring for pests and disease, and seasonal garden care.

Most clients are served on a bi-weekly schedule during the growing season.

Most weeding services are provided through ongoing garden stewardship or as a comprehensive initial cleanup.

Initial Garden Cleanup

A comprehensive reset for overgrown or neglected gardens, often required before routine maintenance can begin. This service restores structure, removes accumulated weeds, and prepares the property for ongoing care.

Standalone cleanup projects are limited and scheduled as availability allows.

Fine Pruning

Selective hand pruning of ornamental shrubs and small trees to preserve natural form, improve structure, and support long-term plant health and flowering. Proper timing is critical, particularly for spring- and summer-blooming species common to Massachusetts landscapes.

Hedge shearing and large tree work are not provided.

Flowerpot Design & Maintenance

Seasonal container plantings designed to provide vibrant color and interest throughout the year. Installations may be refreshed for spring, summer, fall, and winter, with optional ongoing maintenance to keep displays healthy and attractive.

Hardscape Weed Management

Control of weeds emerging in cracks of driveways, patios, walkways, and stone areas using non-toxic, environmentally responsible methods.

Vegetable Gardens

Support for productive, organic home food gardens — from bed preparation and planting to seasonal care and harvest guidance. Whether establishing a new kitchen garden or maintaining an existing one, our goal is to help you grow fresh, healthy food successfully.

Pest & Disease Management

Targeted, ecological solutions for localized pest or disease issues affecting ornamentals or edible plantings. Our approach prioritizes prevention, plant health, and biological or organic controls whenever possible.

Bulb & Tuber Plantings

Seasonal planting of spring- and summer-flowering bulbs and tubers to enhance color and interest in the garden. Plant selections are chosen for performance, longevity, and suitability to your site conditions.
